PART 5 EXHIBITION – post 3
As I moved from the face to face exhibition to the virtual exhibition because of gallery lockdown, I still felt it necessary to put together a model of the space at Riverhouse Barn in order to focus on the arrangement of the paintings. I knew that the virtual space would be positioned differently but the thought process which underpinned the body of work needed to be the foundation of the exhibition. This connection of thoughts is apparent in the poetry but doesn’t necessarily have to have a sequential link. The images also have a loose grouping eg paintings which respond to Australian bush fires, seasonal groupings.
The following photos show the cardboard model of the physical space with the images. When the exhibition went virtual, I sent this model to the web designer so that he could base the virtual space on my curating ideas.
